Most of us act as workaholics most of the time and would not give room for adequate rest until our body demands for it. So bad.
Do you know that you're doing yourself more harm than good by tampering with your sleeping hours?

Anyways, let's explore the benefits of sleeping today. Shall we?
Sleeping is essential for physical and mental health.
First of, we would consider the Physical benefits;
Sleep helps repair and regenerate damaged cells, build bone and muscle, and strengthen the immune system.
Sleep enhances concentration, attention, and memory combination.
Sleep helps regulate the immune system, reducing inflammation and improving immune function.

Let's progress to the mental and Emotional Benefits; ( I think I love this part more)
Sleep helps regulate emotions, reducing stress and anxiety.
Sleep deprivation can lead to irritability, while adequate sleep improves mood and emotional well-being.
Sleep helps consolidate memories and improve problem-solving skills.
Additional benefits...incase you have not still understood the need for proper sleep;
Sleep is essential for physical and mental health, reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
Adequate sleep improves cognitive function, leading to increased productivity and better performance.
Sleep plays a critical role in maintaining overall quality of life, improving physical and mental well-being.
Now, how many hours are you expected to sleep?
Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night for optimal health. Emphasis on the night!
How often should you sleep?
First thing first, establish a consistent sleep schedule to regulate the body's internal clock.
Also, create a sleep-conducive environment. Create a dark, quiet, and cool sleep environment to promote better sleep.
These hacks are not taught in school, yunno so hold on to it dearly.
May I add that sleeping doesn't make you lazy or unserious if you're doing it the right way.
